Allegheny Dynamics is a small drafting and design firm based in South Western Pennsylvania; serving Western PA and the Greater Pittsburgh Area. We take pride in serving both at the consumer and professional level. Great care goes into every project we take on. Accuracy & Precision is our motto, something we take seriously. We strive to meet a high standard to maximize efficiency, function, and detail. We also understand that our drawings need to convey an artistic vision simultaneously meeting that standard for function. With a passion for drafting and design we offer many services to our customers.

As much as we like drafting and design, we also have a passion for building community. Relationships we build with our customers are a top priority. From staying in touch with homeowners after a project has been passed to a builder, to collaborating with our professional customers; we aim to create a rich and uplifting community within the industry.
RYAN DUNLAP - OWNER/DRAFTSMAN
A little about me:
I was the last lucky generation to learn hand drafting during high school. This came in handy as I started working as a draftsman for a custom cabinet shop in Pittsburgh right out of school. I quickly gained an appreciation for drafting as an art form.
The owner of the cabinet shop came to me at the end of the day and asked me to join him in the shop. I remember him telling me how important my position was and without me none of the beautiful woodwork that was being built in the shop would be possible. The cabinet makers needed my drawings. The installers needed my drawings. And more importantly, the customers needed my drawings. It was at that moment I realized I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.
A bit of schooling, working for a cabinet shop, a stint in heavy industry, and a few general contactors has helped grow my knowledge and understanding. I am deeply passionate about drafting and design. I strive to bring top level detail, accuracy, and artistic flare to all the drawings I do. Drawings serve a purpose to guide others to create and bring another’s vision to life. It is deeply important to me to make sure the person looking at that drawing can see that vision accurately. As with all design there needs to be balance between beauty and function. I take this same approach to all of my drawings and it is what makes my work stand out among the rest.
